First of all, the last few weeks were weeks of good news: I got graduated, turned 22 years old and got accepted at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute for the study Fashion & Branding. For me, after six years of dreaming, working hard and wining, it is something to be f*cking happy about. Also, I decided to focus THE VIEW DESIGN truly on fashion and interior, as you may see my slogan ‘THINNING OUT THE FINE LINE BETWEEN FASHION AND INTERIOR’. I truly believe that fashion and interior will be a complete picture in the future. For example, which is a thing now for a couple of years, famous fashion designers who are starting their own interior design label such as: Alexander Wang, Armani, Matthew Williamson and Moschino.
After my internship at visual merchandising company Frans Beekwilder, I realized that interior and fashion trends are translated into visual merchandising. Well that is not a coincidence because most of the visual merchandising presentations are seen in fashion and interior stores.
Although I have showed you a lot of different things, there comes a point where you just have to know what you will visualize and how to sell yourself while blogging. My blog is not about sharing my thoughts, knowledge and trends and styles with you. Although I know the importance of thinking into a commercial way, which is something I truly believe I can be good at, in my own world I dp like to show you what is DIFFERENT and also very useful, which can be also a commercial thing (lol).
